ANIRUDHA NAGAR

Anirudha Nagar is a Senior Legal Policy Adviser at the National Native Title Council (NNTC). His expertise in international human rights law stems from diverse jurisdictions. In South Asia, he supported Indigenous communities to negotiate better social and environmental outcomes with the proponents and investors of development projects as the Communities Director at Accountability Counsel. He also worked at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in New Delhi, advocating for victims of police brutality. At the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Anirudha advised the Chief Prosecutor on international law and procedure. In Australia, he has worked at the Tenants Union of Victoria providing legal advice to aggrieved tenants facing imminent homelessness. He holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Anirudha is a member of the Developments in the Field panel for Cambridge University Press’ Business and Human Rights Journal.
